Alonso also stated about the unity after the 4-3 win that everyone is united in the team

Kylian Mbappe was the star of the match when Real Madrid won 4-3 against Olympiacos. The French superstar netted four goals, a hat-trick within 30 minutes of the first half, while the fourth one came in the second. The striker’s hat-trick was scored within the span of just seven minutes.

Meanwhile, after the game, he was interviewed by a journalist, and the reporter’s line of questioning made him unhappy. The 26-year-old was asked about how the team is dependent on him and his scoring ability in matches, and here is what the former Paris Saint-Germain player has replied.

Mbappe doesn't believe that the team solely depends on him to win matches. The Real Madrid striker showed irritation when he was asked about the question after the match. Mbappe was asked if  there is “dependence on Kylian Mbappé,” to which he replied:

"I think that’s a bad question, no disrespect to you.”

The reporter then told Mbappe that when he didn't score at Anfield, against Elche, and Rayo, the team didn't win without his goals.  Replying to this, the World Cup winner said:

"You have to say then that I am one of those responsible."

Mbappe, the La Liga striker, told the reporter about the different jobs every player has. He said, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo:

“Everyone has their role in the team. Mine is to score goals, but I can say that without the other players, we wouldn’t win games.”

Mbappe, who believes that football is a team game and that one cannot win matches without players’ help, said:

“Every team has players who have a job to do, but I don’t think there’s any dependency or anything like that.”

The France International captain further said:

“I think it’s more a thing that journalists or people on the outside think.”

Mbappe, who began his football career with Monaco, had earlier come in support of head coach Xabi Alonso amid the dressing room speculations. He provided his support to the Real Madrid boss and made sure to the fans that the team is moving forward in the same direction. They are all united to win titles.

Alonso also stated the same after the 4-3 win that everyone is united in the team. He also revealed that he talked to Vinicius Jr after the game and talked to him about the disallowed goal. The former Bayern Munich and Liverpool star was also seen hugging the Brazilian star, which might be a relief to the eyes of the fans.
