Real Madrid vs Barcelona has a date and time now as Hansi Flick and Xabi Alonso face each other for the first time as managers. The Real Madrid manager has never encountered Flick before even at Bayer Leverkusen. This is going to be the first El Clasico of the season and will be hosted by the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners. 

Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona date and time confirmed: When to watch Xabi Alonso’s first El Clasico as a manager?

La Liga has finally announced the date and time for the eagerly awaited match. Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are set to play each other on Sunday, October 26th at 16:15 CEST (11.15 a.m. ET) at the Santiago Bernabéu. The La Liga fixture will be telecast live on ESPN.

The Whites are currently on top of the table with 18 points from six games. On the other hand, the defending champions, FC Barcelona have one game in hand and are second on the points table. However, situations might change as the two will be playing a handful of matches ahead of their encounter against each other. Hence, the clash is going to be a close one in the fight for the league title.

Although the El  Clasico has always been about more than just a game, for Alonso, it will be all about pride, history, and crucial points in the title race of course. The next Clasico will be held at Barca's home stadium, Camp Nou. While the Los Blancos head coach has never faced Barca as a manager, he did face them as a player 30 times during his time at Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Real Sociedad. During those games, the Spanish recorded eight wins, seven draws and 15 losses. 

Kylian Mbappe is currently the top scorer in La Liga with seven goals. The France international is followed by Etta Eyong of Levante. Barcelona’s Ferran Torres is third in the standings with four goals scored. Vinicius Jr and Raphinha are tied at 5th position with three goals each.
