Norwegian star Erling Haaland has revealed that he is unhappy that manager Pep Guardiola has sold one of the striker’s teammates. However, the player has also admitted that players come and go, which is what football is.

Manchester United star Haaland stated that he misses his buddy Jack Grealish. In an interview with the Men In Blazers YouTube channel, the 25-year-old said:
“Of course, it’s sad he left us. Uh, you know, I cannot uh joke around with him every single day, but again, that’s football. And you see him now. He’s happy he’s playing every game.
Haaland also stated that he is “happy” with Grealish’s performance and “Everton is lucky that they have him.” The Champions League winner said:
“I wish him all the best. I hope he continues with this. Uh, it’s a bit weird to see him there, but again, that’s football.”

The two, Haaland and Grealish have struck up a fantastic bromance since they became teammates in the summer of 2022 when the City striker joined the Premier League side from Borussia Dortmund. The former teammates were not just on the same wavelength on the football pitch but also the best buds off it.
Meanwhile, the English star has made an instant impact with the Toffees. He has also become the first player from the team to record multiple assists in consecutive Premier League matches. Haaland has now recorded 27 goals and 21 assists in 149 games for the 10-time Premier League winners.
From becoming a prolific scorer, he is also on his way to becoming the dressing room leader. City are set to host Manchester United today at the Etihad Stadium and all eyes are on the big man.
