Campbell says Kane’s game doesn’t rely on pace, allowing him to extend his career comfortably.

Kane has been in exceptional scoring form at Bayern Munich, racking up 26 goals in 22 games this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Frazier Campbell has pitched Harry Kane to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in playing until he is close to his 40s. The England skipper has continued to shine with Bayern Munich this season, having spent two years with the German side already.

Cambell backs Harry Kane to enjoy longevity like Ronaldo and Messi

Campbell had a conversation with GOAL about Kane, and was questioned if the Englishman can enjoy the kind of longevity of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The former striker noted that the 32-year-old has never been one to depend on speed, and that will help him adapt in what's left of his career.

“I think so. As long as your body allows you, it’s not picking up too many injuries. He never had blistering pace so he is more of a technical finisher. I think he could play for a good while longer. And he still knows where the net is, he’s still scoring, it’s not like he is slowing down. He could continue going on for a long time", he said (via Tribal Football).

Harry Kane has been in phenomenal form this season, putting up Messi-Ronaldo numbers in a Bayern Munich jersey. He has scored 26 goals and provided four assists in only 22 games for the Bundesliga side, who have drawn only once in 17 games this season.

Kane has a contract until 2027 at the Allianz Arena, keeping him tied to the club until he is 34 years old, at the earliest. He could seek a return to England after his spell in Germany, as his return has been mulled over in certain quarters.

Lionel Messi reaches 400 career assists

With this performance, Messi went on to cross 400 assists for club and country. So far in his career, Messi has provided 37 assists for Inter Miami in 84 games and has also amassed 74 goals. For Argentina, he has registered 60 assists and 114 goals in 195 games.

With Barcelona, Lionel Messi has scored 672 goals and assisted 269 times in 778 games for the side, with 32 goals and 34 assists in 75 games with PSG. Messi has performed exceptionally well wherever he has played.
