Manchester United's midfielder Manuel Ugarte has trolled the new signing Diego Leon after the youngster produced a funny assist in their pre-season game against Bournemouth. The Red Devils ran out 4-1 winners against their fellow Premier League side to clinch a second victory in the Premier League Summer Series in the USA.

Diego Leon came off the bench in the second half to replace Patrick Dorgu at left-wing-back and was involved in the side's fourth and final goal immediately. The Paraguayan drove towards Bournemouth's box before tripping himself. The ball fell for fellow substitute Ethan Williams to score and make it 4-0.

Ugarte saw the funny side of the assist and posted an edited clip through his Instagram story to troll the youngster. The video showcased a sniper lining up a shot, with Leo losing his balance immediately the trigger was pulled by the sniper. He wrote a simple message in the caption to applaud the youngster.

Diego Leon has featured in all three pre-season games for Manchester United, having joined the side this summer. He was roped for an initial £3.3 million fee from Cerro Porteno, is considered as primary backup for Dorgu at left wing-back.

Leon was the only signing by Manchester United to feature in the game against Bournemouth on Thursday July 31. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were not included out of the match squad but were with the team at the Soldier Field Stadium for the game.

After defeating Bournemouth in their second game of the Premier League Summer series, Manchester United set a 100 percent record in the competition.

Ruben Amorim's team defeated West Ham in their first match of the series, and Rasmus Hojlund scored  after just eight minutes. Patrick Dorgu scored the second goal in the 25th minute.

Amad Diallo added the third goal in the 53rd minute before Ethan Williams scored the fourth goal in the 73rd minute. In the 88th minute, Bournemouth scored a late goal after Matthijs De Ligt turned a David Brooks cross into his own net.

Amorim's side will play Everton in their final game of the Premier League Summer Series, facing Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9.
