The Youtuber Mike Maquina del Mal has blasted Inter Miami's Lionel Messi for his controversial celebration against Club America in the preseason match at the Allegiant Stadium, on Saturday, January 18. The celebration was aimed at the Mexican fans.

What did Mike Maquina del Mal say about Lionel Messi?

The two sides met in an entertaining match that ended in a 2-2 draw and saw Lionel Messi get on the scoresheet. But, the Herons secured a 3-2 win during the penalty shootout which was enough to defeat the Liga MX outfit.

The rival fans made sure they taunted Messi each and every time they got a chance. But, when things got out of hand, Messi responded by holding three fingers toward the crowd to let them know the number of FIFA World Cups Argentina has won. It didn't end there because, after that, Messi pointed out zero to let the Mexican fans know that they have no World Cup trophies to their name.

The Youtuber Mike Maquina del Mal was not at all impressed by this and took a dig at Messi.

What are you doing, ridiculous? What are you doing? Now he was playing a match against America, which does not represent all of Mexico, and he goes and tells the fans that he has three World Cups and we have zero. What does that have to do with it? You are playing with Inter Miami and not with the Argentine national team or the Mexican national team or anything. Everything is out of place, del Mal said.

That little story of 'Messi is so good', 'Messi is so generous', 'he is the best person in the world', that his f*cking mother believes. On days like today he shows his true colours and it is clear that he has something personal against Mexico, del Mal added.

Inter Miami to sign 21 year old attacking midfielder: reports

Lionel Messi's Inter Miami have reached an agreement to sign the attacking midfielder in the form of Baltasar Rodriguez. Rodriguez plays for the Argentine side Racing Club. The deal is set to be closed in the coming days as per news outlet Strikers.

Inter Miami recently missed out on signing Neymar from Al-Hilal as he himself is reportedly close to joining his boyhood club, Santos. Inter Miami are on the verge of making their sixth signing of the current transfer window. Rodriguez will look to replace the outgoing Facundo Farias.

Rodriguez made his senior debut for Racing Club in May 2023. Since then, he has seven goals and four assists to his name in 65 appearances across competitions. He also won the 2024 Copa Sudamericana.
