Benjamin proved again to be a super sub with a match winning goal against Everton as Manchester United secured a great 1-0 away win on Monday, February 23.

Interim coach, Michael Carrick was all praise for the Slovenian striker, who arrived at the club last summer. Carrick explained that Sesko is a crucial asset for the club and he wants him to grow perfectly to serve the club for a longer duration.

"He's in a good place at the moment. We've had some really good talks about it. Patience is important for him, waiting and developing as a player here. He understands that," told Carrick to Sky Sports.

"He's going to be a big player for us for a long period of time, I'm sure of that. We've got to manage that. We've got some top forward players. He's made a big difference for us when he's been on the pitch," Carrick concluded.

Michael Carrick does it again

United's Interim manager, Michael Carrick, managed to stay on the right track as they managed to clinch a tough win against Everton. The Red Devils have managed to secure four wins in their last Premier League matches.

United's new signing Benjamin Sesko shined against Everton with a clinical finish as he was the only scorer in the clash. In the 71st minute of the game, Sesko scored the goal to give United a lead and it turned out to be just enough for the Red Devils.

Benjamin Sesko's spike in form

With this goal against everton, Sesko's tally stands at seven goals in 21 outings in the Premier League. Most of the matches he played under Ruben Amorim, who was sacked in January.

Since Michael Carrick took over, Sesko managed to find some form as he scored six goals in his last seven league outings.

The visitors pulled off a great win against a tough opponent like Everton. This away win would be counted as one of the important victories for the Red Devils when the ongoing season comes to an end.
