Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has downplayed a viral video of a Manchester City supporter drinking from an Arsenal water bottle during City's 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The victory by Pep Guardiola’s side has heated the English Premier League title race, especially Arsenal’s recent loss to Bournemouth, where Arteta’s side missed the chance as the gap closed up to six points. Following this, a City fan went viral, and the Gunners boss was asked about the mockery.

Arteta described the act as the behavior of "just one person" among thousands of loyal fans and is not moved by the troll. The Premier League side’s head coach responded to questions about the clip, which emerged after City's dominant win, and said:
"One fan, you mean? That’s just one person out of 60,000 incredible supporters we have at the Emirates every time.”
Arteta added:
"I don’t get moved by that."
The fan's gesture, widely interpreted as a jab at Arsenal's perceived tendency to "bottle" major trophies, quickly spread across social media, sparking memes and banter amid the intense rivalry between the two title contenders.
The incident occurred as City capitalized on Arsenal's recent slip-ups, intensifying pressure on Arteta's side ahead of their upcoming clash. The Premier League title race remains tight, with both clubs battling for supremacy in the final stretch of the season. The two will face each other in the upcoming fixture at Etihad Stadium.
