Big fumble from Arsenal vs Wolves
It was a big shock for Arsenal who are still have a five points ahead of second placed Manchester City. The only concern is that the Cityzens have a game in hand and Gunners still have to face them at the Etihad.
After the game, the Arsenal boss said that the Gunners have to fully take responsibility for their performances, which was actually horrible because it is not an everyday thing to lose a two goal lead.
“I think any question, any criticism, any opinion, you have to take it on the chin today. That's it. Any bullet, take it, because we didn't perform at the level that is required."
He also said that feels extremely disappointed with the outcome, but also said that the players are the ones to blame, especially for the performance in the second half.
“I'm extremely disappointed, obviously, with the result, with the way the game ended. But we have to blame ourselves, I think, in the performance in the second half.
“We didn't show anything close to the standards that are required in this league to win, with a margin that I think should have existed today, especially in the manner that we played the first half.
Arteta was clearly angry with this kind of collapse as they have secured win in just two of their last seven games in the League and said that they must make a comeback with a bang on performance in the North London derby against Tottenham on Sunday.
