A win against the Gunners in the Carabao Cup this weekend might be a tonic for Man City

The Carabao Cup final between Manchester City and Arsenal is set to take place this Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London, promising another intense chapter in one of English football’s fiercest rivalries. With both teams chasing silverware and bragging rights, all eyes are on the key players as managers finalise their preparations for what could be a defining moment in the season.

City saw Erling haaland being substituted in the second half against Real Madrid last night while they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League. This sparked an injury scare at the time, but reports framed it as minor rather than a serious long-term issue, with Haaland himself signaling he didn't feel right.

“Erling Haaland has NO injury. He will be available against Arsenal in the Cup final.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal is currently the top contender for the Premier League title, with Man City’s chances almost slipping away. However, a win against the Gunners in the Carabao Cup this weekend might be a tonic for the side.
