Nadal gave his words on how this whole Vinicius and Alonso tension has been handled. As quoted by MARCA, the tennis superstar said:
“I think it has been handled well. It is arranged by speaking from the understanding.”
The 22-time Grand Slam champion also advised the Los Blancos winger that he should respect the seniority and authority. The 14-time Roland Garros winner said:
“Vinicius has to understand who the authority is. These are things that can be corrected by communicating.”
Nadal, the former World No. 1, also said, as per the aforementioned source:
“The first person who should take advantage of the improvement and rivalry in his position is Vinicius because he needs powerful allies.”
