The Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has finally opened up and given his honest views on his marital status with his long time partner Georgina Rodriguez after there was public confusion whether the couple was officially married or not. The marriage speculations arose when the Al-Nassr forward, Ronaldo wished Rodriguez happy birthday in which he referred to her as wife.

The Portuguese International took to his social media account where he posted,
For the mother, partner, friend, my wife... happy birthday, love.
Not just this, Ronaldo even referred to Georgina as his wife while expressing gratitude for her support during his acceptance speech at the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai in December.
However, after being together for so many years, Ronaldo has still not proposed to Georgina and has finally explained to why he has not taken that step till now.
During an interview for Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, Ronaldo revealed,
I always tell her, when we get that click. Like everything with our life, and she knows what I'm talking about.
It could be in a year or it could be in six months or it could be in a month. I'm 1000% sure that it'll happen, Ronaldo concluded.
Earlier in the episode, Georgina mentioned that her close friends and family tease her about getting married to the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, as they have been together for more than nine years now. Ronaldo has been in a relationship with Georgina Rodriguez since 2016 and has two daughters with her. They even raise Ronaldo's three other children from surrogate mothers.

Portugal were going up against Denmark in the leg 1 quarterfinal of the UEFA Nations League on Thursday, March 20. A late goal from Danish forward Rasmus Hojlund in the 78th minute meant that Denmark defeated Portugal 1-0.
Not just this, Hojlund even celebrated his goal with the famous Ronaldo celebration of Siuuu in front of Ronaldo himself.
