There are a lot of unique stories going in the Saudi Pro League. One of them is the curious case of Darwin Nunez, who plays for Al-Hilal, but after the signing of Karim Benzema, the Uruguayan striker can only appear in the AFC Champions League because of SPL's strict policy of foreign players.
Darwin Nunez's return to Europe on the cards?
The 26-year-old striker left Liverpool last summer to join Al-Hilal for a massive fee of €53 million. So far, Nunez managed to gather just nine goals and five assists in 24 matches. But, Benzema's arrival changed things for the Uruguay International, as he became ineligible for league matches for the remainder of the season.
According to a report form TeamTalk, The Uruguayan international is targeting for a comeback to Europe next season. As per the report, two Premier League clubs are interesting in acquiring the services of Darwin Nunez and those clubs are Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Additionally, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also keeping tabs on Nunez's situation.

For Liverpool, Nunez managed to score only 40 goals and 26 assists in 143 games. He was infamous for missing open chances and easy sitter goals, this led to a massive criticism towards his finishing ability.
