The much-awaited UEFA Champions League playoffs are all set to begin with some exciting fixtures lined up for Tuesday. The day will be highlighted by Real Madrid vs SL Benfica, where the Spanish giants will seek revenge for the group-stage loss that prevented their direct qualification to the Round of 16.
Twelve of the 36 teams were eliminated in January following the wild final round of the league phase. The 16 teams who finished ninth to 24th will compete over two legs this midweek and next. Following the results, it will be decided which teams will join the top eight in the UCL last 16.
