Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has playfully ruled out a dinner catch-up with his former assistant and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta. The Sky Blues manager stated that their relentlessly packed schedules are due to both clubs juggling four competitions this season.

Guradiola, ahead of the Carabo Cup final between Arsenal and Man City, said:
“I don't have time to go to London.”
The Catalan manager added:
“And I don't think Mikel has time, in four competitions, to come to Manchester.”
Meanwhile, the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal is an important match for Guardiola as it will boost confidence for the City players. While the Gunners are the heavy favourite to win the English Premier League title this season, a win for the Citizens will be a huge setback for Arteta’s side.
Arteta’s side has been top of the EPL table, followed by Guardiola’s men on second. Manchester United has jumped to number 3, followed by Aston Villa and Liverpool on fourth and fifth, respectively.
