Despite earnest attempts by the Gujarat Giants to bridge the gap, Puneri Paltan’s relentless pressure proved too much. A Super Tackle by Sonu momentarily stalled Puneri Paltan’s advance, but they soon regained momentum. With just three minutes remaining in the first half, Puneri Paltan executed a flawless All-Out, widening their lead to 16-7. By halftime, their lead had ballooned to 11 points, underscoring their dominance.
The second half witnessed Puneri Paltan continue their relentless assault. Within the first four minutes post-interval, they delivered another All-Out, stretching their lead to a staggering 28-10. By this stage, the Giants were more focused on damage control than an actual comeback.
Even though the Giants strived to stem the tide with a series of Super Tackles towards the game’s end, their offense was unable to significantly disrupt Puneri Paltan’s momentum. These efforts were insufficient to prevent another All-Out, though they managed to marginally reduce the scale of defeat.
Star performers of the match were Aslam Inamdar, who notched up a phenomenal 10 points, Gaurav Khatri with 6 points, and Mohammadreza Chiyaneh contributing 5 points, all contributing significantly to Puneri Paltan’s emphatic victory.
