Gujarat Giants snapped their losing streak with a significant 42-30 victory over Tamil Thalaivas at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi, propelling themselves to fourth place in the standings on Sunday. The team's defense was in top form, complemented by stellar performances from raiders Rakesh, who scored 14 points, and Rohit Gulia, with 9 points, leading to a comprehensive win.

The Giants took command from the outset, with their raiders consistently outperforming the defense in the first half. They quickly put the Thalaivas on the back foot, and despite a Super Tackle from Sagar, the Thalaivas struggled to close the widening gap.

With about seven minutes left in the first half, Gujarat Giants executed the first All-Out of the match, thanks to Rakesh and Rohit Gulia's relentless attacks. By halftime, they had built a five-point lead, 18-13, over the Thalaivas.

Continuing their dominance into the second half, the Giants secured another All-Out within the first five minutes, further extending their lead. The Thalaivas managed to gain some ground with an All-Out of their own with seven minutes remaining, narrowing the deficit to 10 points.

Despite Gujarat Giants' control over the game, it was notable that Fazel Atrachali only scored his first point with four minutes remaining, just as the Thalaivas began to rally. However, his timely tackle reignited the Giants' momentum, shutting down any hopes of a Thalaivas comeback. Rakesh capped off the match with a multi-point raid, sealing a decisive win for the Giants.

This victory marked a turnaround for Gujarat Giants, showcasing their ability to dominate both in offense and defense, and moving up the leaderboard with a vital win against Tamil Thalaivas.

Bengaluru Bulls bulldoze past U Mumba

In another contest, Bengaluru Bulls edged out U Mumba with a 42-37 victory in a tightly contested match at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi. The Bulls showcased their prowess with Sushil achieving a Super 10 and Akshit adding eight crucial points to their tally. Additionally, Ran Singh's defensive mastery earned him a High 5, effectively countering U Mumba's raider Jai Bhagwan, who also scored 10 points.

The match kicked off with U Mumba showing initial promise, but the Bulls displayed resilience, thwarting potential All-Outs with remarkable Super Tackles from Parteek and Ran Singh. Despite their efforts, Jai Bhagwan managed to secure U Mumba's first All-Out, signaling a competitive clash ahead.

As the game progressed, Bengaluru Bulls found themselves on the back foot but rallied back into contention, thanks to Akshit's pivotal Super Raid. This comeback culminated in an All-Out against U Mumba, narrowing the gap to a mere two points by halftime, with the scoreboard reading 22-24 in U Mumba's favor.

In the second half, Sombir continued his impressive form by completing his High 5, although U Mumba's raiders struggled to replicate the success of their defensive unit. This imbalance allowed Bengaluru Bulls to gradually take control, with Sushil spearheading the charge and Ran Singh backing him up by achieving his own High 5, making the contest increasingly competitive.

The match's dynamic nature persisted until the final moments, climaxing when Bengaluru Bulls secured an All-Out against U Mumba after Amirmohammad Zafardanesh was taken down by Parteek. This pivotal moment granted the Bulls a decisive lead, which they managed to preserve until the final whistle, clinching a hard-fought victory over U Mumba.
