In the second match of the evening, Bengaluru Bulls beat Telugu Titans 36-31. The Bulls captain Pawan Sehrawat scored 12 points as the season 6 champions kept calm to win the South Indian derby.

UP Yoddha were leading 5-3 in the initial stage of the game but the Steelers fought back to take 11-9 lead in the 11th minute. Later, Yoddha  levelled the score at 11-11. Steelers then took lead at 15-14 with a fantastic tackle just before half-time.

Steelers went full throttle in the early minutes of the second half and inflicted an all-out in the third minute. Rohit Gulia and Vikash Kandola kept chipping in with raid points to strengthen the lead. The Steelers had a chance to inflict another all out in the 10th minute but Yoddha’s last man, Mohammad Taghi, picked up a four-point super raid to get his team back in the match.

Yoddha reduced Haryana’s lead to just three points with five minutes remaining. Yoddha, however, threw away the match by misjudging a bonus point by Vinay in the last raid of the match.

In the second match of the evening Bengaluru Bulls beat Telugu Titans 36-31. Pawan Sehrawat started the match with high intensity and Titans could not match it as they succumbed to an all out in the 10th minute of the first half to trail by seven points. Bulls captain Sehrawat picked his super 10 and helped his side to a 11-point lead. The bulls ended the first half at 22-11.

While the Titans performed better in the second half, they eventually lost by five points. Captain Sehrawat received great support from Bharat who scored seven points. Defenders Aman and Nandal chipped in with four points each.

For the Telugu Titans, Ankit Beniwal was the top-scorer. He scored four touch points, two bonus points and a tackle point, but this was not enough to seal a win for the Titans. This win helped the Bulls move to the top position on the points table and to end a three-match losing streak. The Titans remained at the bottom with just one win in the entire season.
