Every year, millions and millions of people are affected around the world due to various reasons. These drivers and their families have worked with the cause. There were some issues in the past that were not talked about and made them aware on a certain level.

 

NASCAR drivers who give back to their communities

 

There were many drivers in the past who stepped up to form their charitable foundations but only a few stood out. Here is the list of three such drivers who along with the help of their families help the underprivileged sections of society.

 

Samantha and Kyle Busch 'Bundle of Joy' fund

 

Samantha Busch, wife of Kyle Busch has been raising awareness on In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF). She is a mother of two kids and both of them through IVF. After getting to know that there is no such awareness about the issue and the expenses that come with it, Samantha decided with her husband to start the 'Bundle of Joy' fund.

 

The main aim of the foundation is to provide funds to families who are unable to conceive and require IVF method. As of now, they have raised around $1.7 million in funds and their website claims that 97 babies have been born with the help of the couple.

Jimmie Johnson Foundation

 

The Jimmie Johnson Foundation is run by seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and his wife Chandra Janway. It is dedicated to helping the children, families and communities that are in need.

 

According to their website, they have made around $6 million in contributions. Every year they host a golf tournament that aims to raise money for K-12 public education.

 

In the year 2009, the foundation raised $1.5 million for the Education Champions Grants program which was one of their biggest projects in history.

 

The Joey Logano Foundation

 

Joey Logano is one of the most prominent names in the history of the sport. He has over 30 wins in the competition and has two championships to his name. He has gathered a huge fanbase for himself and at the same time, he runs the Joey Logano Foundation.

 

The foundation aims to help children and young adults by investing in other firms. So far, they claim that they have invested around $5 million in other organisations and have impacted the lives of more than 250,000 children.
