For the first time ever, India gears up to experience the adrenaline rush of high-speed super bikes with the commencement of the Moto GP from September 22 to September 24 at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida. A staggering 82 riders from 41 global teams are prepped to blaze the track, aiming to shatter speed records.

The event boasts participation across three thrilling categories: Moto Grand Prix, Moto2, and Moto3. Specifically, 22 of the world's best will vie for the top spot in MotoGP, while 30 will compete in both Moto2 and Moto3.

Anticipating an immense influx of spectators, special shuttle services have been launched from nearby metro stations, ensuring seamless access to the venue amidst the likely traffic restrictions. But it's not just about the race! Sunburn, a renowned music festival entity, is set to elevate the excitement with a spectacular gala performance during the Moto GP weekend. In a delightful twist, spiritual guru and biking enthusiast, Sadhguru, is slated to grace the event's inauguration ceremony.

"The Moto GP is going to be a grand event; visitors will be provided a shuttle service from Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida. Also, those who have passes will be allowed to park their car in designated areas near the BIC. The police and administration are working closely to provide smooth passage of vehicles and ensure that the event becomes the nation's pride," said Dhirendra Singh, MLA, Jewar (Greater Noida).

"An international event is happening after nine years of gaps at the famous race track. We will ensure that this becomes successful. A series of meetings have been held to ensure a grand Moto GP event," he added.

The organizers have further revealed a qualifying round for all three racing categories kicking off from Friday.

"For the convenience of visitors, a shuttle service has been provided from Noida's Sector 52, Botanical Garden and Sector 148 Metro stations and DLF Mall. The paid shuttle service has also been provided from Punjabi Bagh Metro station, Connaught Place, Nehru Place, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Jhandewalan, IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram, and Old Faridabad Metro station in Faridabad," said a spokesperson of the organisers of Moto GP Bharat.

"The shuttle services will start at seven in the morning and the drop services will start post-race at five in the evening. One can also book a personal cab to reach the venue," said the spokesperson.

In essence, the Moto GP event promises to be a mesmerizing blend of speed, entertainment, and fervour, marking a significant chapter in India's motorsport history.
