India clinched two Olympic medals on August 2 which was started by Harmanpreet-led hockey team as they clinched their second consecutive bronze medal and after that Neeraj Chopra clinched silver medal in Javelin throw final. Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem created history by winning the gold medal in javelin throw. The 26-year-old Chopra, who has never lost to Nadeem in their earlier 10 meetings, took the silver with his second round throw of 89.45m. He had won gold in Tokyo with a throw of 87.58m three years ago. Team India have not yet won a medal in wrestling where the team always seen dominating. However, India are still hoping a medal in wrestling where Aman Sehrawat will fight for bronze medal.
