India and Germany to collide in the semi-final

Now the semi-final match of the Indian hockey team will be played against the winning team of the other quarterfinal which was played between Germany and Argentina on August 4. Spain eliminates India's biggest roadblock
India was pushed towards the bronze medal match after getting defeated by Belgium in the semi-finals in the last 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Whereas in the Paris Olympics also, India had to face defeat by 1-2 at the hands of Belgium. But Spain eliminated Belgium by defeating them 3-2 in their quarterfinal match and made it to the second semi-final. Whereas in the third quarterfinal, Netherlands made Australia taste defeat. Along with this, the second semi-final match will also be played between Spain and Netherlands on August 6.
