Competing in the 57kg weight category, Paris Olympics bronze medallist put on a dominant display to completely overpower his opponent, Rahul, with a resounding 11-1 victory in the final to clinch the prestigious title.
This selection marks the second time Sehrawat will represent India at the continental showpiece. In his previous Asian Games appearance in Hangzhou, China, Aman successfully climbed the podium to claim a bronze medal—a feat he will undoubtedly look to upgrade when he takes the mat in Aichi-Nagoya.
