Charlotte Flair made an unexpected comeback in the Royal Rumble 2025 winning the event taking everyone by a shock. Not just she returned from a long hiatus she scripted history becoming the first woman to win the women’s Royal Rumble match twice.
On the drama-filled February 14th episode of SmackDown, the world of wrestling saw high-stakes action as Jey Uso issued a challenge to Gunther for the Raw Heavyweight Championship. Charlotte Flair also made her move clear, stating her ambitions to claim Tiffany Stratton's Women's Championship.
Tiffany Stratton Retains Title Against Nia Jax in Fierce Contest
The most important match of the evening saw Tiffany Stratton defend her Women's Championship against the dominant Nia Jax. The match was a hard-fought affair, with Jax in control for much of the bout. The final stages, however, saw Stratton try to execute her finisher, the 'Prettiest Moonsault Ever,' on Jax. Flair, with her class and superiority, entered the ring and spoke directly to the fallen Stratton. In a provocative statement, Flair declared she would challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women's Championship at WrestleMania 41.
This statement paves the way for a marquee matchup between two of SmackDown's brightest stars. Stratton, who is continuing to recover from the vicious assault, now must contend with having to get ready to defend her title against one of the greatest champions in WWE history.
