The Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty finished as runners-up at the China Masters Super 750 in Shenzhen, marking their second consecutive final defeat at a BWF World Tour event in a week. They were defeated by the reigning world champions and World No. 1 pair, Kim Won-ho and Seo Seung-jae of Korea.

In a 45-minute final, the top-ranked Korean duo beat the eighth-seeded Indian pair with a score of 21-19, 21-15. This loss follows their defeat in the Hong Kong Open final just last week. The Indian duo, who are two-time World Championships bronze medalists, are still seeking their first title since winning the Thailand Open in May of the previous year.

The Indian pair looked in in control in the first game, taking an impressive 14-7 lead after winning eight consecutive points. However, the Korean duo, with their effective left-right combination, mounted a strong comeback. They won six points in a row to close the gap and, with the momentum now on their side, ultimately clinched the first game.

The second game was a much more closely contested affair. The Koreans held a slim one-point lead at the mid-game interval. From an 11-11 tie, Kim and Seo pulled away, winning four consecutive points to maintain a comfortable distance and secure the title.

In other finals, Korea's An Se-young, the Olympic champion, successfully defended her women's singles title. The top-seeded 23-year-old dominated the match, needing only 33 minutes to defeat third seed and home favorite Han Yue with a decisive score of 21-11, 21-3. In the men’s final, local star Weng Hongyang triumphed over Lin Chun-yi of Chinese Taipei, winning 21-11, 21-15.
