Jon Jones, who made an exceptional return at UFC 309 by outclassing heavyweight veteran Stipe Miocic, is expected to have at least one more show inside the Octagon but he is keeping the undisputed contender and the fans in waiting. Tom Aspinall had expressed his eagerness to fight Jones on more than one occasion going but with the passage of time, he is also seemingly losing interest in the match-up.

Tom Aspinall On Jon Jones Fight

Tom Aspinall is evidently "bored" after going on and on about wanting to fight Jon Jones for the Heavyweight title strap. In a recent admission about the fight, Aspinall states that he would be ready to fight at any given period but does not want to pay more heed to it unless it materialises.

Speaking to JNMEDIA, he said: 'I've had enough talking about it, mate. Honestly, I'm bored of it. We'll see what happens, yeah, we will just see. I'm ready to fight whenever they tell me. So, just let me know, and I will be there," Aspinall said.

Jon Jones' Legacy Is Cemented

Jon Jones is a prized fighter, and it is no secret that with the stature he holds, he will dictate terms. Now it will be intriguing to see whether he will answer the call of the fans worldwide and take the challenge of fighting Tom Aspinall or not. Regardless of what he does or even if he walks out of the sport now, Jon Jones' legacy in the annals of MMA is cemented. He is dubbed as the unanimous GOAT and may continue to be known as so. However, a fight against Aspinall would still be the biggest want of the fans from Bones.
