A veteran UFC desk host announces her departure after 14 years with the promotion.

The exit comes as the UFC officially shifts into its new Paramount-era broadcast.

UFC has officially stepped into a new broadcast chapter, but the transition from ESPN to Paramount+ has come with a significant on-air departure.

Veteran UFC desk host Karyn Bryant has confirmed that her long-standing run with the promotion has come to an end, closing the curtain on a 14-year tenure that spanned multiple broadcast eras.

The shift became official at UFC 324 in Las Vegas, the first numbered event to air on Paramount+, following the UFC’s blockbuster $7.7 billion media rights agreement.

While much of the production team remained intact, the arrival of Kate Scott as a new desk host fueled speculation about Bryant’s future.

Karyn Bryant confirms exit after more than a decade

Those questions were answered during UFC 325, when Bryant addressed her status directly on social media. The longtime UFC personality confirmed she would not be part of the promotion’s newly launched Paramount era.

“I just want to let you guys know that after 14 years, my time at the UFC desk is over,” Bryant said. “I am not moving forward with them in the Paramount era. But I had an incredible time over the last 14 years.”

Bryant’s departure follows lighthearted comments made earlier by Paddy Pimblett, who joked about her being replaced after Kate Scott’s introduction. While the situation was unclear at the time, Bryant’s announcement has now made the transition official.

Reflecting on a career in combat sports

Karyn Bryant also reflected on her long journey in combat sports broadcasting, which began well before her UFC run.

“I have been doing this for so long. I started in combat sports with Showtime Championship Boxing in 2006,” she said. “So I have been doing this a very long time, and I’m not stopping.”

Calling the exit bittersweet, Bryant expressed gratitude toward the fighters and colleagues she worked with during her tenure.

“It’s a bummer. I had such a great time… I really did have a wonderful time,” she added. “All good things have to come to an end.”

What’s next for Bryant

Despite stepping away from the UFC desk, Karyn Bryant will remain active in MMA media. She plans to continue covering the sport through her YouTube platform, including a show alongside Rashad Evans, while also returning to her roots as a music DJ.
