Paddy Pimblett Made Whopping Sum by Beating Michael Chandler at UFC 314
Aside from gaining respect and praise from the MMA world for his performance, Paddy Pimblett went home with deep pockets. The 30-year-old got the job done and reaped a whopping sum.
As per the reports, The Baddy bagged a guaranteed purse of $400,000 (£303,000). Moreover, he was also at the end of UFC locker room bonuses or pay-per-view points.
The aforementioned amount highlights the strides Pimblett has made over the years. For someone who drew just 10,000 to fight and 10,000 more in case of a win, he has come a long way and got the increment of exponential measures.
"When I first signed with the UFC, I took a pay cut. The UFC standard deal is 10/10 ($10,000 to show, $10,000 to win)," he revealed on the Full Send Podcast during UFC 314 fight week.
"I signed for a pay cut at first. My first two fights were 10/10 and then 12/12 and, obviously, after I won my second fight, we got a new deal, and it went up.”

Paddy Pimblett On Course to Become a Title Contender
Pimblett has now won seven UFC fights in a row, which includes victories over Tony Ferguson, King Green and, of course, Chandler. He has several names on his radar, including Charles Oliveira, who is the No.2 ranked fighter in the UFC lightweight division.
“I wanna be a world champion," Pimblett said in his post-fight press conference. "I’m gonna be a world champion, and beating a former champion like Charles Oliveira who had two title defenses, he gets called the best submission artist the UFC has ever seen.
"I’d love to go up against that because I think I’ve got better submissions than Charles Oliveira."
