Neeraj Chopra Classic was originally scheduled to take place on May 24.

The event was postoned due to India-Pakistan military conflict.

Neeraj Chopra Classic will take place at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

The inaugural edition of Neeraj Chopra Classic international javelion throw will be held on July 5 in Bengaluru. The oragnisers announced the rescheduled date after the event was postponed due to India-Pakistan military conflict following Operation Sindoor in response to terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The 12-athlete event will be held at Bengaluru's Sree Kanteerava Stadium. The five Indians excluding India's double Olympic medallist Chopra are Sachin Yadav, Kishore Jena, Rohit Yadav and Sahil Silwal. Recently, Sachin won the silver medal at the Asian Atheltics Championship 2025.

There will be seven foreign competitors including three who have crossed the 90-metre mark which Neeraj breached recently at the Doha Diamond League 2025. Other competitors and their best throw are as follows -

Anderson Peters (PB: 93.07m) of Grenada, 2016 Olympics gold winner Thomas Rohler (PB: 93.90m) of Germany, 2015 world champion Julius Yego (92.72m) of Kenya, American Curtis Thompson (PB: 87.76m), Asian Games bronze medallist Genki Dean (PB: 84.28m) of Japan, Rumesh Pathirage (PB: 85.45m) of Sri Lanka, Luiz Mauricio da Silva (PB: 86.34m) of Brazil.

Ticket prices for Neeraj Chopra Classic

Earlier, the event was scheduled to take place on May 24. Also, the event was shifted from Panchkula to Bengaluru as there was inadequate lighting for live telecast. As per the organisers, the ticket prices for the mega javelin throw event will start at Rs 199. The tickets will go up to Rs 44,999 for corporate boxes. Meanwhile, people who want to stay near the action around runaway can spend Rs 9,999 to see the athletes.
