Jon Jones To Make a Big Announcement

Ever since the culmination of UFC 309, there has been immense inquisition about what the future holds for him. While the fight community wants him to take on the deserved contender and the division's interim champion, Tom Aspinall, the speculations of a potential retirement have acquired equal space parallelly,  leaving fans guessing about his next move.

UFC CEO Dana White has meanwhile expressed optimism about a future battle between Jones and Aspinall. White hopes that the fight will take place this year. Amid the increased interest in the fight, Jon Jones has given an intimation about an announcement. The perceived UFC GOAT took to X to state, "In the next 24 hours, I'll be making a huge announcement."

Along with the short note, he attached a hashtag, which reads "#Andstill". This is enough hint that the announcement will be about a future fight, or something related to his UFC career. The post has given life to a plethora of assertions by the fans. The general expectation is that Jones will officially announce that he is on board to take on Tom Aspinall inside the 8-sided ring and will give an idea about the date and venue of the colossal heavyweight encounter. However, fighters usually do not make fight announcements on their own or at least not before UFC does. Thus, the huge build-up may not be about Jones vs Aspinall. The good news is that whatever it is will be divulged and brought forward in the next 24 hours by Bones himself.
