RAW on Netflix: What’s Coming in January

WWE has already started ramping up excitement for the Netflix premiere of RAW on January 6, 2024. The highly anticipated event will feature Roman Reigns challenging Solo Sikoa to a Tribal Combat match, which has already been confirmed for the debut.

Triple H Discusses RAW’s Transition to Netflix

In a recent appearance during the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Post-Show, Triple H discussed the significance of the move to Netflix. He emphasized how crucial this step is for WWE's global expansion, a project that has been a major focus for the company over the last year, thanks to their partnership with Netflix.

“As you know, this is part of WWE’s global expansion, which we’ve been very focused on in the last year, and a lot of that has to do with our deal that we have with Netflix,” Triple H said. “So January 6, sort of the big next evolution of WWE, heading to Netflix."

He went on to elaborate on how the move will impact WWE's viewership. “At that time, 80% of the globe will hit Netflix live with Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and all our PLEs. The US will be slightly different, but that includes all of Canada, so when that date hits, you’re gonna get all WWE programming here. It’s a game-changer for WWE. We’re very excited about that.”

A Game-Changer for WWE

Triple H described the Netflix transition as a “game-changer” for WWE, calling it a significant shift for the company. He also shared his expectations for the future: “Hopefully, if we do our jobs well, they’ll get that same level of storytelling and athletics that make WWE as big as it is. There’s a lot of speculation about what we’re gonna go to and how it’s gonna be at Netflix. The truth is, we’ll just have to wait and see."

With this major move on the horizon, WWE is set to bring its exciting brand of sports entertainment to a broader global audience, starting January 6, 2024.
