Alexander Zverev Envisages the Winner of Australian Open 2025

Ahead of the start of the Australian Open 2025, Alexander Zverev was interviewed in Melbourne and was asked to make a bold forecast about the potential winner of the AO 2025.

To which he said, "I think there will be a new champion in the men's singles!"

Zverev's answer puts him in the contention for the trophy as well. The German has been around for a significant period and has showcased top class Tennis in a major part of the last decade. However, he has always faltered when it comes to grand slams. Initially, he struggled to get past the first four rounds, but he has made sizeable improvement in the last few years. He has reached the Grand Slam final on two occasions and lost both times. Thus, should he win the Australian Open in 2025, then it would be the first Grand Slam of his career.
