The 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Championship has officially kicked off, drawing together 64 elite college teams from across the country to compete for the prestigious national title. With the early rounds being held at 16 campus sites and the final stages scheduled at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, fans are in for a thrilling ride of high-stakes collegiate tennis.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The competition is in single-elimination round-robin. A team that loses is immediately out of contention. The first two rounds commenced on May 2 and were set to conclude on May 4. The winners shall now be transported to the Super Regionals, scheduled for May 9-11. The last eight contenders shall take on each other in the decisive rounds from May 16-18.

Wake Forest, TCU, Texas, and Stanford have gotten the top four seeds this year owing to impressive play during the regular season. Defending champions TCU, who clinched their first-ever NCAA title last year with a nail-biting 4-3 victory over Texas, are determined to continue their winning ways this time around.
