World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka continued her strong run at the 2026 French Open, advancing to the quarterfinals with a straight-sets victory over Naomi Osaka on Court Philippe-Chatrier. But it was her post-match celebration that stole the show. Although she had stated there would be no dance show battle anymore after Novak Djokovic’s elimination, she did a small portion of it.

In a lighthearted moment captured by the official Roland Garros account, the powerful Belarusian went from dancing playfully in front of a phone camera backstage to leading an impromptu dance party on the iconic red clay. She, who previously did Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance in a round-two battle with the 24-time Grand Slam champion, Sabalenka was asked if she could also do the moonwalk, and she served it.

Microphone in hand, Sabalenka encouraged the packed stadium crowd to join in as she moved energetically across the court, showcasing her signature charisma and high energy. The clip highlights Sabalenka’s infectious personality, which has made her a fan favorite.

“From dancing in front of the admin’s phone to dancing on Philippe-Chatrier,” the tournament’s post read, quickly racking up thousands of likes and positive reactions praising her as “entertainment pur” and “the best thing that happened to women’s tennis.”

Sabalenka’s on-court dominance paired with her off-court joy underscores why she remains a top contender for the title. As the tournament heads into the quarterfinals, the No. 1 seed will look to carry this momentum deeper into the competition.
