The Cameroonian international, dressed casually in a light polo shirt and sunglasses, enthusiastically clapped and cheered alongside a companion, clearly captivated by the clay-court battle. The video quickly went viral among football and tennis fans alike, with many noting Mbeumo’s genuine passion for the sport as he reacted animatedly to the rallies.

Meanwhile, talking about the match, Fonseca took the first two sets in a tight battle, saved by an epic tiebreak in the second. Ruud fought back to claim the third set 7-5, but the young Brazilian dominated the fourth set with powerful forehands and strong defense to seal the win after nearly four hours

This victory sent Fonseca into his first Grand Slam quarterfinal, the first by a Brazilian man at the French Open since Gustavo Kuerten in 2004. Just days earlier, he had staged a stunning comeback from two sets down to beat Novak Djokovic in the third round.
