Naomi Osaka stunned everyone with her bold outfit at the Australian Open 2026 debut, and the video has been going viral on the internet. The Japanese star laboured into the first Grand Slam of the year on Tuesday with a victory after an audacious "jellyfish-inspired" fashion statement by the player during her entrance at the centre court.

Osaka entered the Rod Laver Arena carrying a white parasol with a matching wide-brimmed hat, along with a long veil. The two-time Australian Open champion wore a sleeveless turquoise dress over pleated white trousers as she turned the court into a catwalk. 

The former World No. 1 raised gasps in the crowd as she entered the court. She also teased the outfit on social media this month, posting "Pick up the phone, it's jellyfish season".  After showcasing her stunning fashion, Osaka was ready for a tennis battle, beating Croatian opponent Antonia Ruzic with the score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 to reach the second round at Melbourne Park.

Osaka from Japan took the decisive break at 5-4 and thumped a backhand winner down the line and claimed the encounter in her favour. Osaka, the four-time major champion will face Sorana Cirstea of Romiani where they will fight for a place in the third round battle.
