In the midst of one of the most grueling Grand Slams on the tennis calendar, where scorching heat, upsets, and marathon matches dominate the headlines, Roland Garros had found room for some pure, unfiltered joy.

Sabalenka dances to Michael Jackson's thriller at Roland Garros

The official Roland-Garros account sparked a viral moment with a post teasing an ongoing "dance battle" between tennis legends and fan favorites.

The fun kicked off when 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic treated fans to some smooth Michael Jackson-inspired moves during his time on court. The 39-year-old Serbian superstar, known for his showmanship as much as his unmatched competitive fire, couldn't resist turning a warm-up or on-court moment into entertainment.

Djokovic was seen dancing to Michael Jackson's superhit song Billie Jean as he challenged Aryna Sabalenka in round two. Later, the World No. 1 WTA star was seen dancing to another superhit, Thriller, which was posted by the official page of the tournament.

Amid the huge success of the Michael Movie, which is a biopic of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, played by Jaafar Jackson, the singer’s nephew, the dance battle has been something everyone has been talking about. While fans waited for round three, the Serbian had been knocked out of the event by 19-year-old Brazilian Joao Fonseca.
