Alexander Zverev finally won his very first Grand Slam, and it took him four attempts to do so. While social media flooded woith congratulations messages, several high-profile athletes joined the celebration, and this football legend is one of them.

German football star Thomas Müller shared an exuberant video reaction to Alexander Zverev's maiden Grand Slam title at the 2026 French Open, sparking widespread attention on social media. 

In the clip posted on X (formerly Twitter), Müller, visibly thrilled, shouted "Come on! Sascha, yes!" with joyful expressions as he watched Zverev clinch the title. "Congratulations, Sascha!!  #hedidit," the former Bayern Munich forward, who plays in MLS, wrote alongside the video.

Zverev defeated Italy's Flavio Cobolli 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-1 in a five-set final on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Sunday. The victory marked Zverev's first major title in his fourth Grand Slam final and ended a 30-year drought for German men at the majors. 

The 29-year-old Zverev, who has managed Type 1 diabetes since childhood, received congratulations from across the sporting world, including Rafael Nadal, Germany's Chancellor, and other prominent figures.
