Coco Gauff decides to leave Team8 Management

The World No. 3 has decided to start her own firm by the name Coco Gauff Enterprises. She has launched her company under the banner of WME (William Morris Endeavor), which further owns IMG (International Management Group). WME has an impressive list of players which they represent such as Serena Williams, Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek, Emma Raducanu and others.

While announcing the change, Gauff emphasized that she didn't want her impact on the society to be limited only to the tennis court as the wants to expand by going in business and philanthropy. She even thanked her previous management team and stated that they parted ways on good terms.

Today I'm thrilled to announce the launch of Coco Gauff Enterprises, a venture that reflects my passion for making an impact- not just in tennis, but in business, philanthropy, and beyond...Taking this big step forward also means closing the incredible chapter I have shared with Team8. I'll always be grateful for everything they've done for me and my family, and I know I'll look back on that time with deep appreciation and fond memories, said Gauff through her Instagram post.

She even acknowledged the support of WME and thanked them. Gauff is excited to start her new chapter and do well on the court, which is her first priority.

Coco Gauff Enterprises will be represented and supported by WME, a team with the vision and resources to help me explore all the opportunities ahead..As always, tennis will continue to be my main priority. added Gauff.

Coco Gauff yet to win a title in 2025

So far this season, Coco Gauff's performance has been underwhelming. She started her season well as she helped Team USA to clinch the United Cup as they won all five singles matches.

But, since then, she has struggled on the court as she lost to Paula Badosa in the last eight of the Australian Open. In the four WTA 1000 events so far, the American has had two-opening round exits to her name which came at Qatar Open and Dubai Tennis Championships.

She then had consecutive fourth-round exits in the Indian Wells and Miami Open. Gauff lost to likes of Marta Kostyuk, McCartney Kessler, Belinda Bencic and Magda Linette as all of them are ranked below the American. She was the favorite to win against them but her tendency to make double faults and unforced errors saw her lose all these matches.

Coco Gauff is expected to perform better at the clay court as she has a win rate (72 percent) on the surface. She even won a title at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Open.
