With the win, Eagles have reached the Super Bowl 59.

Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LIX.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders squared off on Sunday in the NFC Championship Game. It was their third meeting in the season, both were one apiece after the earlier battles. This time however it was the Eagles, who prevailed and won with a convincing score of 55-23 to make it to the Super Bowl 59, to be held in the New Orleans on February 9, 2025.

Jalen Hurts Topples Jayden Daniels in the NFC Championship Game

Much like the AFC Championship game, where the much-anticipated battle between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen took place, the NFC game saw Jalen Hurts and Jalen Daniels crossing paths once again. It was Hurts who came up with the goods to win the contest against Daniels.

While Jalen Hurts has been subjected to criticism, especially in the latter half of the campaign, he proved his mettle where it mattered the most by taking his team to the floor of the grandest stage. In the process, he attained a massive milestone as well.

Jalen Hurts Makes Massive Milestone

When Jalen Hurts scored his second running touchdown in the third quarter of the game, a 9-yard run to the end zone, it went down in the history books as with the rushing RD, Hurts tied with San Francisco 49ers great, Steve Young, for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the NFL playoff history.

He didn't stop there, however. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles once again drove the ball down toward the goal line. This time, before Hurts could go for sole possession of the record, hilarity ensued.

With the win the Eagles have reached the Super Bowl LIX, where they will take on the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs. It should be noted that the Chiefs are on the quest to win the Super Bowl for the 3rd consecutive time, and should they make it then it will be a glorious moment as no team in the history of the NFL has ever won the title three times in a row. The Philadelphia Eagles have a score to settle with the Chiefs and would want to avenge the loss of the Super Bowl 57 in Super Bowl 59.
