Mike Norvell, the head coach of Florida State, acknowledged that the Seminoles' 0-2 start was a failure and accepted full responsibility for the team's struggles. Following a disheartening loss to Boston College, Norvell apologised to the fans and recognised that he neglected to set up his players satisfactorily.
Norvell apologises
"This is a failure on my part," Norvell said. "I didn't do a good job of getting our guys ready to play. We didn't execute, and we didn't make enough plays. I take full responsibility for that."
The Seminoles' consecutive losses to LSU and Boston College have raised huge worries about Norvell's future as coach. In recent years, the program has struggled, and the 0-2 start has only increased the pressure. Norvell has also expressed his disappointment and frustration with the team's performance.

"We're a better team than what we showed on the field," he said. “We have to find a way to play with more urgency and intensity.”
The Seminoles will face Southern Miss in their next match, giving them a chance to regroup and get back on track. A loss to the Golden Eagles would place Norvell's work in serious peril.
In addition to his apology, Norvell also addressed the need for improved player development and accountability. "We've got to do a better job of developing our players and holding them accountable," he said. "We can't keep making the same mistakes."
The Seminoles' 0-2 beginning has placed tremendous strain on Norvell and his coaching staff. The group should show critical improvement to rescue their season and keep away from additional investigation.
