The Fate of Ophelia continues to rule the Billboard Hot 100, extending Taylor Swift’s unprecedented dual-chart reign.

Taylor Swift has done it again. Just a month after releasing her latest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, the global superstar continues to dominate the charts, solidifying her reign as one of the most powerful figures in the music industry.

A historic four-week streak at no. 1

In a feat few artists can claim, The Life of a Showgirl has officially topped the Billboard 200 for four consecutive weeks since its release. According to data from Luminate, Swift’s album earned 146,000 album-equivalent units in the U.S. for the week ending October 30 — a remarkable figure that highlights her continued commercial dominance.

This achievement marks the second album in 2025 to spend its first four weeks at No. 1, following Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which ruled the chart for eight straight weeks earlier in the year. Taylor Swift’s ability to maintain such consistency in a highly competitive music landscape reflects both her loyal fanbase and her unmatched artistry.

Strong competition, unshaken reign

Even as new releases flood the market, Swift’s chart performance remains untouched. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack continues to trail closely behind at No. 2, pulling in 84,000 equivalent album units, while Wallen’s I’m the Problem holds firm at No. 3 with 76,000 units.

Despite these strong showings, none have managed to dethrone Taylor Swift’s cinematic and emotionally charged record — a blend of storytelling, melody, and thematic brilliance that has resonated deeply with listeners worldwide.

‘The Fate of Ophelia’ extends Taylor Swift’s chart domination

Swift’s winning streak isn’t limited to album charts. Her single “The Fate of Ophelia” continues its run atop the Billboard Hot 100 for the fourth consecutive week. The track’s success received an extra boost following the release of an acoustic version titled “Alone in My Tower,” which was made available for digital purchase through October 30.

During the latest tracking week, the song amassed 29 million streams, nearly 55 million in radio audience impressions, and 22,000 digital sales — cementing Swift’s dominance across both major Billboard charts simultaneously.

An unprecedented achievement

With The Life of a Showgirl leading the Billboard 200 and The Fate of Ophelia holding strong on the Hot 100 for four weeks, Taylor Swift achieves an unprecedented milestone — becoming the only artist in history to debut at No. 1 on both charts and retain those spots for an entire month.
