Aaron Rodgers has held talks with the New York Jets regarding his future yet hasn't presented a clear picture on what lies ahead for him. The Jets are on the lookout for a new general manager and a head coach, putting Rodgers in a complex situation. At 41 and a performance below par, the veteran quarterback faces uncertainty at the franchise, despite having a year remaining under his contract.

Aaron Rodgers Reveals What Transpired in the Conversation with Jets' Owner
Rodgers revealed that he has a brief conversation with New York Jets' owner Woody Johnson following the culmination of the season, and his decision regarding the future with the Jets will depend on who will fill out the position of the coach and GM.
"I think everybody understands that it's going to come down to a GM and a coach and myself and whether we all want to do a dance together or if it's not in the cards," Rodgers said on Thursday during an appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show."
“I told them I’m going to take some time,” Rodgers said. “They haven’t made a decision on a GM or coach yet. Once that happens, that will take us to the next step, which is a conversation, I’m assuming, with whoever that individual is.
“But this is a time where I’m taking time for my body and my mind to clear things. There’s obviously moving pieces in New York. There have been a number of job interviews for GM and head coach. There’s even more names being released every day that the team is looking at.”
The QB starred in every game for the Jets last season, registering 3,897 yards in passes, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Coming off an Achilles injury, Rodgers could not deliver the performance which could push him for the MVP contention. He looked like a shadow of himself from his Green Bay days. But since it's a team game, he wasn't solely responsible for his team's struggles.
