LA Rams wideout Puka Nacua was seen stumbling and dancing in a San Francisco street in hours after the 2026 Super Bowl, in which the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13. Many fans believed that Nacua was drunk in the video while getting into a black SUV.

Puka Nacua's controversial off-field conduct

On Tuesday, former NFL guard Richie Incognito appeared on Jason Whitelock's "Fearless' podcast and expressed his thoughts on Nacua's off-field conduct, which have landed him in hot water this past season.

"Puka, it's an interesting situation," Incognito said. "I believe, at his core, he's a good dude. He's just a young guy, and you have to understand that these athletes are motivated differently now. ... Now these kids are thrown in the spotlight, like, 'I wanna do streaming with this guy.' Everybody is TMZ nowadays.

 

 

Incognito, a four-time Pro Bowler, also explains how Nacua requires to be more aware of his surroundings since it could affect his career trajectory.

"So, I think (Rams coach) Sean McVay is the perfect guy for Nacua. ... Puka needs to grow up. You have to come to the understanding that this is hurting the brand. This is gonna come up in the next contract negotaition."

 

 

The Rams picked Nacua in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $4.08 million rookie contract.

Puka Nacua had a great season 2025 with the Rams

Puka Nacua had an amazing 2025 season with the Rams. He registered 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns on a league-leading 129 receptions, while adding 105 yards and a TD in 10 trials in the regular season.

Nacua led the Rams to qualify for the playoffs. He dropped 332 yards and two touchdowns on 24 receptions, along with 24 yards and a TD on six attempts in the postseason, as the Rams made it to the conference championship game, where they faced defeat against the Seahawks.
