In the latest development of a long-standing feud, pop icon Taylor Swift is said to have issued a legal cease-and-desist letter to rapper Kanye West following a shocking online rant in which he alleged that the singer had intimate relationships with fellow artists Justin Bieber and Harry Styles.
In a now-deleted post that formed part of a 100-tweet social media tirade, Kanye West, 47, made crude and unfounded claims, stating:
“Justin Bieber and Harry Styles fked Taylor Swift from both sides and didn’t call me. Oh, I forgot. I can’t hold water. EVERYTHING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.”
The inflammatory remark sent shockwaves across the internet, enraging Swift's devoted fanbase—known as the Swifties—and drawing a strong reaction from her inner circle, including her current partner, NFL star Travis Kelce.
Travis Kelce Reportedly Ready for a Face-off
Kelce, 35, is said to be deeply disturbed by West's comments and is reportedly considering a direct confrontation with the rapper over what insiders are calling an act of public harassment.
A source close to Swift shared:
“Taylor has tried to take the high road with Kanye by basically just ignoring him in the past. But Kanye’s modus operandi is to just amp up harder if you try to ignore him.”
Now, the source claims, Swift is “exploring all legal and PR options” to determine the best course of action in response to West’s behavior.
Harry Styles Denies Kanye's Allegations
Harry Styles, 31, has had a brief love affair with Swift in the past. On such allegations dropped by West, Styles said, "They're completely false." Reportedly, Styles stood with her during the whole drama, which still seems to be on big headlines.
Since 2009- The Spat
The rift between Taylor and West dates back to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where at the time he interrupted her acceptance speech to declare Beyoncé the ""real winner."" Since then, the animosity has been on and off, but Kanye's latest behavior seems to have brought back the war full-fledged.
Kanye's Unpredictable Behavior- Racket
Hyperactivity has been pushed further into the debate after much of West's ever-increasing social media frenzy this year. In February, he allegedly made such statements as, ""I love Hitler,"" and ""I'm a Nazi,"" reportedly prompting his wife, Bianca Censori, 30, to distance herself from him.
He has now targeted his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, 44, in another rant online having to do with her history concerning the controversial leaked sex tape with singer Ray J, with whom he chillingly suggested he'd like to shoot a video featuring all three.
Maybe It Is Time That Swift Took Him to Court. Another insider weighed in, saying:
"Nobody could argue with that Taylor taking this nutcase to court. It's true that somebody should make him responsible for his horrible behavior."
And legal action is likely on the line - perhaps finally, Taylor Swift will hold Kanye West accountable for crossing the line-again.
