Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders surprised his dad, Deion Sanders, in Colorado. With the start of his team's bye week, the quarterback took a short vacation back home to spend some time with family.
In a video clip shared by Bleacher report on Sunday, we see Shedeur Sanders surprise Coach Prime in his office. The Colorado Buffaloes coach asked his son why he was in Boulder with a smile on his face. The father and son duo then hugged each other before continuing with some small talk.
Shedeur Sanders' career so far
Shedeur Sanders spent his entire collegiate career playing under the coaching of his dad. He is still waiting for some regular-season action with the Browns, who have named rookie Dillon Gabriel as the starting quarterback.
The ex-Colorado star's visit comes after he had announced that he would stay in Cleveland during the bye week. Shedeur Sanders said he had no intention of going to Colorado for the program's homecoming game this weekend because he had to "get ready" to play for his side.
Deion Sanders is in the middle of his third season with Colorado Buffaloes. They will try to improve on their 3-5 campaign by claiming a win against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday.
During his two-season stint with the buffs, Shedeur Sanders tailed a total of 7,364 yards and 64 TDs. Last season, he helped to a 9-4 campaign and was honored as the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner.
