NBA star Stephen Curry unveils world’s first Curry brand store in China - See pics

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry unveiled the world's first Curry brand store in a brand-new mall in Chengdu, China. Currently on the brand's "China Tour", Curry is joined by Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox who is the first athlete signed by the brand.

What did Stephen Curry say at the National Basketball Players Association?

During a National Basketball Players Association event, Curry mentioned that boosting the brand's international presence is at the topmost priority.

He further added, "Basketball is everywhere and we want to be everywhere. And opening up our first Curry Brand store over there — I’m excited about just that entire experience of what does it mean not just here in the U.S., but internationally, and what we can do to make sure people know what that splash logo means and what it stands for, and what Curry Brand means and where Under Armour is going.”

The first store of the brand will have all the products that the brand has to offer which includes their "China Tour" pack as well. Meanwhile, during the China Tour itself, their second store is slated to open in Xian.

The brand was launched back in 2020 and is backed by the famous brand, Under Armour. After launching his brand, Stephen Curry joined the likes of Michael Jordan and Patrick Ewing, who have their brands.

Stephen Curry shares insane crowd reactions during his China Tour

While arriving in China on Tuesday, 10th September, Curry was greeted by fans who were awaiting his arrival at his hotel. Curry shared a video on his Instagram of how the fans welcomed him. The video also featured De'Aaron Fox, as both were headed towards the hotel elevator.

The caption for the video that was shared by Stephen Curry read, "Unreal welcome for our first Curry Brand Tour. Let’s go!"

Both players are set to be in China till September 14, Saturday and will release new pairs of shoes. Fox will unveil his new shoes that are called the Fox 1. On the other hand, Curry will release at least four new pairs that include Curry 12, Curry 1, Curry 4 and Curry 6 FloTro models.
