The Charlotte Hornets got a massive LaMelo Ball injury scare ahead of their regular season game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday.
Latest update on LaMelo Ball
LaMelo was placed as "probable" on the team's injury report, which was dropped after Tuesday's practice.
The Hornets point guard was placed with left wrist soreness. Earlier, the former Los Angeles Ballers standout had missed most of the time because of wrist injury, for which he even underwent a surgical procedure. LaMelo Ball has appeared in the last four games, and Hornets fans are hoping their guard can stay on the floor to keep driving the team ahead.
Latest update on Brandon Miller
On the other hand, star forward Brandon Miller has appeared on the team's injury report. Initially, he was not on the team's initial injury report ahead of the previous game against the Brooklyn Nets, but was ruled out at the eleventh hour. Miller will stay on the sidelines as he is placed as "out" with a left shoulder subluxation.
More players on the sideline
Pat Connaughan (right calf strain), Josh Green (left shoulder surgery), Tre Mann (left ankle impingement), and Grant Williams (right knee surgery) are all ruled out of Wednesday's game.
The Hornets have been going through a tough time on the road, securing just one win in 10 of their away games so far this season. Overall, Charlotte sits in the 12th place on the Eastern Conference standings with a 6-15 record.
