The San Antonio Spurs will be going up against Dallas Mavericks in the Summer League game on Saturday, July 12th at the Thomas & Mark Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. All eyes would be on rookie Cooper Flagg, whether he features against San Antonio Spurs or not.

On Thursday, Cooper Flagg introduced himself to the big league by pulling off a poster dunk and helped his team win 87-85 over the Los Angeles Lakers. He showed his abilities on the court and has generated more excitement for the next games. 

Saturday marks another chance for him to showcase his talent in the Summer League and this time around, his opponent will be San Antonio Spurs. It is expected that Cooper Flagg will be starting the game against San Antonio Spurs. 

He can build on his debut performances and make a name for himself. Against the Lakers, Flagg notched up 10 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block. His all round ability helped the Mavericks dominate the Lakers on both ends of the floor.

Not just this, Cooper Flagg will be looking to work on areas which demand improvement including his efficiency and consistency. He shot 5-for-21 from the field and went scoreless in the second half. Although, the Mavs secured the victory but he was -1 on the plus/minus column. 

Cooper Flagg will have another chance to prove his mettle on Saturday against the Spurs, who lost their match 111-70 to Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. Flagg will be going up against the talented wings like former NBA G League player David Jones Garcia and 2025 lottery pick Carter Bryant.
