Joel Embiid's former teammate, Jared McCain, publicly slammed the Philadelphia 76ers on a livestream with famous streamer PlaqueBoyMax after the franchise traded him to the OKC Thunder just before the trade deadline.

McCain joined PlaqueBoyMax, on his livestream on Friday. Dent, who is also a record producer, plays some unreleased music on the stream, and the now the Thunder player starts grooving to the tunes.

"We better not run into Philly, cause if we do s**t gon get sticky," one line in the song said.

 

 

The former 76ers player raised his hands when he heard the bar regarding Philadelphia. The Sixers traded their guard for draft capital. The Thunder supplied them with a 2026 first-round pick, a 2027 second-round draft pick and two 2028 second-round draft picks.

After the trade, Philadelphia 76ers President Daryl Morey attended a press conference on February 5. He disclosed that the Sixers believed they got the best value for McCain in return.

"I’m quite confident we were selling high on Jared McCain," Morey said.

 

 

Jared McCain's performance for the 76ers

Jared McCain was a quite decent player for the Sixers as a second-year guard. He appeared in 37 games for the 76ers, starting one and averaging 6.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game on 38.5% shooting.

McCain's performance in OKC so far

Since arriving in OKC, McCain has made four appearances for the Thunder and is averaging 9.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg and 1.0 apg on 44.8 shooting.
